Who We Are

The West Point Spouses’ Club (WPSC) is a private, non-profit organization located at the historic campus at West Point. The purpose of the WPSC is to foster and develop a spirit of community responsibility at West Point.

The club also provides opportunities for social, cultural, and creative pursuits and supports worthwhile service and community projects. The WPSC hosts monthly events in addition to various fundraisers and special programs throughout the year.

Members pay annual dues, which will help subsidize the club’s operating expenses. Each member receives free entry into selected programs, free participation in Mom and Tots, Book Club, Lunch Bunch, West Point Experience Tours, Mah Jongg, and Deal of the Month, free property rental from the WPSC lending closet, a membership directory, weekly email updates, and four issues of our newsletter, The Link.

What We Do

Each year, the West Point Spouses’ Club offers scholarships to individuals continuing their education. To be eligible to receive a WPSC Scholarship, an applicant must be a WPSC member or high school senior who is a child of a WPSCmember who has joined by 1 January, or within 30 days of arrival of West Point, whichever is later.

Academic scholarships must be used for payment of tuition and fees associated with an accredited college-level program, continuing education, or training. This is a one-time scholarship opportunity, for both member and high school senior.

Each year, the West Point Spouses’ Club raises thousands of dollars to help the West Point community, the surrounding areas, and national foundations which support veterans and their families. In addition to awarding grants, our club also reaches out to the community through service projects.

During the board year 2016-2017, the WPSC donated $65,000 in Grants with money raised through our Casino Night Fundraiser and our Ways and Means Gift Shoppe.

Our service projects included an Oktoberfest kids korner and Caroling for Cadets, a holiday tradition to lift cadet spirits during finals week. We look forward to the 2017-2018 year and are always open to suggestions. Check back to see what is in store for the WPSC or email us at WPSCcommunityoutreach@gmail.com.

Community Love for the Club

“Since attending Pre-K at Sacred Heart School to graduating from high school at O’Neill, the West Point Women’s Club has directly and indirectly helped with my education whether it was a smartboard installed at Sacred Heart or your generous support of O’Neill’s extracurriculars….I am sincerely thankful for this scholarship…”

“Holy Angels was very appreciative of the grant we received this past spring.  The monies received will allow our school to purchase 6 nook colors and implement them in the classrooms.  We are very thankful that the WPWC recognizes the services we provide to the West Point Community as well as those in the Town of Highlands.”
